Green Goddess Dip is the easiest and best dip ever! You can whip it up in minutes and it’s ready to serve right away or it’s perfect as a chilled dip for later. This post contains affiliate links.
You may have guessed what’s the hook on this dip — yep, it’s super easy. But when I say easy on this, I mean the lowest effort possible. I remember once right after my son was born I was asked to bring something to an event and I pretty much wanted to hand out boxes of cake mix and let people know it was gonna be a DIY thing. So if you are at that level, this dip is for you. If you just like a delicious, crowd-pleasing shareable dip, this dip is for you. Bottom line, this dip is for you :). Also this is a great year round dip — an equal crowd pleaser at a cookout or at a Super Bowl party or even Thanksgiving appetizer!
Green Goddess Dip How-to
So the ingredient list is simple and easy to customize. Start with a bag of shredded cheddar, a bag of shredded mozzarella and some Green Goddess dip. Don’t worry if that’s not a familiar type of dressing, I live in a fairly small town, and our Walmart always stocks it. Then mix in green onion, black olives and tomatoes to taste.
Mix everything together and you’ve got yourself super fab dip to take to a potluck/cookout/just have around the dinner table. Because I think something that could pep up the workweek is serving more party foods. Why can we only enjoy delicious dips and such at parties? You have my full support to use this dip to celebrate the fact that your preschooler agreed to wear something other than a tank top — hasn’t happened yet at my house, but I might break out this dip anyway :).
Green Goddess Dip Pairings
Sometimes simplest is best, and Green Goddess Dip is one of those times. The only sticking point here is that this dip absolutely pairs best with the jumbo Fritos. You’re going to need a substantial chip to support the weight and amount of the dip that you’re going to want to scoop up. And Fritos are the perfect complement to the flavors here. And total wishlist item, because I’m always concerned about food safety on hot days — my mom brought this fabulous cooler bowl that can stay hot or cold! Totally getting one for the picnic circuit next year. Find it here.
That’s it for the Green Goddess Dip! This pairs great with some Easiest Ever Wine Slushies and some Bacon, Egg & Cheese Deviled Eggs. Any other mix-ins you’d like to try with this dip? I’d love to hear in the comments.
