My fourth Nadine West Review! Nadine West is a style subscription service similar to Stitch Fix, but is a lower price point. You fill out a profile and they choose pieces for you — mine have been a mix of apparel and accessories. If you’d like to learn more, check them out here. This post contains affiliate links.
So I took a loooong break from Nadine West. I felt like it was high highs and low lows with this service. Like everything I kept, I still use years later, but most of the shipment pieces were things that make you say hmmmm.
I had someone reach out on one of my reviews like — bottom line would I recommend them or not? That was tough to answer, because it depends. First, yes, I’ve gotten some pieces I love from them. Second, it might be my body type, but I feel like the cuts and fabrics give me a real junior’s department vibe. So 2004 me would be totally crazy for this service, but 2020 me wants some structure and a little higher quality fabric if that makes sense.
So you don’t make requests with this service, you do your initial profile and you get what you get. Check out my unboxing video and full review with try-ons below!

Terry Necklace, $29.99

So in keeping with the high highs — I have been wanting a casual, non-statement necklace that’s delicate but not too delicate. With that kind of vague and random requirements, you can guess that I have not found it — until, voila this arrived and I love it! I can see this being a staple piece in my wardrobe.
Stripes Ahoy Top, $25.99 and Canery Bottom, $24.99

Top: Whenever I see Christmas t-shirts and tanks, I think “Where do you guys live?” This shipment came in December and I live in Illinois — like where am I going to wear this? As far as fit, it was decent, but I’ve learned to not plan on items I may want to wear in another season. This was a pass for me!
Bottoms: Okay, if you saw the video, you could see that these bottoms looked like they maybe would have fit one of my legs. Maybe just an arm. There is some Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants magic in them, because I couldn’t believe I could wear these. That being said, they’re giving me a Pajama Jeans vibe for all my 2006-era ladies out there. Not saying that’s a bad thing, but I want a little more structure holding me in. Passed!
Tatsuo Bracelet, $19.99

This is cute, but maybe just a little too trendy for me? I can’t see myself wearing this one unless I was headed to a club or similar, but club invites are pretty thin on the ground right now lol!
Top Primadonna $39.99

This top would be adorable on my mom! I’m jealous of the ladies who can rock a fall palette, but these are not my colors. I like the cut of this one and the gold detail, but you just can’t make a bad color on you a good color on you.
Cozy Cardi, $39.99

Like I mentioned in the video, and I feel like the subtitle of this review, I love xyz … on other people. Long line cardigans fall into that box too! They could be so cute … but they do me no favors unfortunately!
Britta Necklace, $29.99

I loved that first necklace and it’s a definite keeper for me so that checked my necklace box for a while!
The pink top you’ll see in the video I just could not face it on! Like I try really hard to be transparent and real, but that was the single most unflattering photo of me ever taken and that includes the junior high years.
But I’m glad to be back and excited to share my next shipment with you! Looking for more? Check out my other Nadine West Reviews here.

Thank you for sharing the full spectrum of the Nadine experience! Some of the pieces were decent but I feel like I could find similar items at a better value and perhaps higher quality fabric at T.J.Maxx, Marshall’s, etc. at a better value. I love the idea of having the pieces arrive at your doorstep if only it seemed like a better value, especially since many stores are not allowing try on. Thank you for your time and attention to detail. My favorite item was the arrow bracelet! I would be curious to know how it held up. Even if it tarnished quickly it would be a great value for even 1 or 2 uses.
I will check out your stitch fix reviews next, I have been curious about the service as well. Thanks again for taking the guesswork out of this service!
Warmest Regards, Rebecca
I’m so glad to hear it! So I love the arrow bracelet and definitely wore it – it tarnished a bit but honestly I stopped wearing it because the arrow was sharp and would snap on everything. But I’m with you, I got a few uses out of it and that was good — sometimes it’s nice to have those just for fun pieces that you don’t have to feel invested in. I’m so glad you stopped by!
